Illick’s Mill is located on the Monocacy Creek, which provided the energy to run the grist mill when it was in operation. The Monocacy is a twenty-mile long limestone tributary to the Lehigh River. It is considered a High Quality Cold Water Fishery by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and is a popular location for fishing.
